Festival Passion Baroques 2026 – A Concert Series with cantoLX

Baroque music in all its expressive richness lies at the heart of Festival Passion Baroques, a concert series exploring passion, devotion and human emotion through the music of the seventeenth century and beyond.

As part of the festival, cantoLX presents a sequence of three concerts, each offering a distinct perspective on baroque repertoire — from Italian love stories and spiritual intensity to musical paths shaped by faith, poetry and innovation. Together, these performances form a curated journey through contrasting affects, styles and sound worlds.

Audiences are invited to experience the series as a whole or attend individual concerts. A concert pass is available, granting access to 2, 3 or 4 concerts at a reduced rate.
Further details can be found in the upcoming events.

Join us at Neimënster and immerse yourself in a festival where baroque music unfolds as a living, evolving dialogue between past and present.

Teatro di Verzura – Upcoming Performance in Metz

Music, visual art, and baroque poetry come together in Teatro di Verzura, an immersive performance by Stéphane Ghislain Roussel, cantoLX, and artist Lise Duclaux.

What if opera were to lead us into the heart of a lush garden, populated by plants with forgotten names, migrating roots, and invisible beings? This show invites audiences to see and hear differently. Baroque music unfolds in all its richness, performed by cantoLX with its historical instruments, while Lise Duclaux – also on stage – guides us through her texts and drawings into a dialogue with the vegetal realm, revealing a hidden microcosm where humans are no longer the sole centre of life.

  1. Esch, Théâtre d’Esch: 20 November 2025 – (passed)
  2. Esch, Théâtre d’Esch: 21 November 2025 – (passed)
