10th Festival Passions et Lamentations | Le sentiment de la Passion dans l’Europe baroque

The festival Passions et lamentations will take the public on a journey back in time to the 17th century and its never-ending collection of church music composers.

In the historical context of the Counter-Reformation that began at the end of the 17th century, the feeling of Christ’s passion, omnipresent throughout Europe, covers different faces. This diversified programme will take the audience to neighbouring countries of Luxembourg during the Baroque period, with a journey to the great composers of the religious repertoire. In this context, the cantoLX ensemble is delighted to be enriched by the sublime baroque voice of Isabelle Poulenard and Armelle Marq.
