Il Pianto di Maria – The Passion of Mary

The Passions festival will take the public back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Traditionally scheduled during the Lenten period, it takes the audience on a journey of sacred music, featuring an inexhaustible collection of composers from the religious repertoire.

The second concert will be dedicated to the Passion of Mary in Baroque music. With Italy as the starting point for the pianto, the concert highlights the figure of the woman, through the story of the Passion, with her tears, her torments and her hopes.
